Abstract:
This is an annotated guide to visual aids and programs in sex education covering the topics of family relationships, physical and emotional development, the creation of life, masculinity and feminity, attitudes and values, marriage, social problems, philosophy and implementation of sex education, together with a sample program in sex education for parents and teenagers. More than 110 recent films, filmstrips, and slide sets on many aspects of physical and emotional development are described and evaluated. General information and leading questions precede each topic, followed with a suggested film listing which includes information about appropriate age groups, length, producer and distributor, and purchase or rental price. A compilation of resource agencies supplying pamphlets, bulletins and bibliographies, and film distributors, as well as an index of films by age and socio-economic group, is also included. (LK)
