Dec 06, 2009

 Back to ERIC News Archive

ERIC indexes education-related grey literature, published reports, and books from hundreds of organizations, many of which allow display of the full text on the ERIC website. Now, individuals can download a list of these organizations or look them up individually via the list available at http://www.eric.ed.gov/nonjournals.

Taken together with the Journal Source List this update showcases the tremendous range and depth of the ERIC Collection. It includes education organizations and foundations, federal and state agencies, policy organizations, university affiliates, and commercial publishers, along with links to their websites. The update to the ERIC website has been made available at the request of librarians and other ERIC users. It complements the Journal List available at http://www.eric.ed.gov/journals and completes ERIC's documentation of active coverage.

Providing convenient access to grey literature such as research reports, policy briefs, and conference papers is one of the signature characteristics of ERIC. Suggestions for additional sources of education-related materials may be sent to ericpub@csc.com. Individuals may submit their work via ERIC's convenient online submission process.
