Nov 06, 2008

 Back to ERIC News

ERIC is pleased to announce the release of nearly 60,000 more full-text electronic documents through the Microfiche Digitization Project. To date, more than 170,000 documents scanned from microfiche have been made available in full text. The majority of the documents in the current release were published prior to 1978.

The Microfiche Digitization Project will close in March 2009, and ERIC is still seeking contributors of works that were indexed 1966-1992. If you or someone you know has work indexed in ERIC that is available in microfiche only, please visit the digitization page to learn more about this initiative. Granting permission for ERIC to release copyrighted works in electronic format will ensure that older materials are widely accessible.
