Three New Topics Added to ERIC Collection Highlights

Visitors to ERIC's Collection Highlights area can now review the latest literature in 23 frequently searched topics, including three recently added to the website: Assessment / Evaluation, Standardized Testing / Tests, and E-learning. By way of distinction, the Assessment / Evaluation search is built around the ERIC Thesaurus definition of evaluation, namely, Appraising or judging persons, organizations, or things in relation to stated objectives, standards, or criteria. The Standardized Testing / Tests search encompasses Tests for which content has been selected and checked empirically, norms have been established, uniform methods of administering have been developed, and which may be scored with a relatively high degree of objectivity. Lastly, E-learning, or Electronic Learning, covers Using electronic devices, applications, or processes to acquire or transfer knowledge, attitudes, or skills through study, instruction, or experience.
