ERIC has added 84 sources to the digital library over the past 6 months (between November 2010 and April 2011) including 37 grey literature sources, two book publishers, and 45 journal titles. Newly indexed papers and reports originate from a variety of sources including, but not limited to:
- Non–profit organizations, including the Arts Education Council, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, National Center for Educational Achievement, New Teacher Project, and Teacher Education Accreditation Council;
- University–affiliated research programs, including the Institute for Higher Education Leadership & Policy and the National Academy of Education; and professional associations, such as the National Association of School Nurses and the National Association of State Boards of Education;
- Government organizations, such as the Connecticut Department of Higher Education and the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
ERIC's recently added journals cover a broad spectrum of education subject areas. A sampling of the 45 new titles include British Journal of Music Education, Education in Science, Mathematics Education Research Journal, TESOL Journal (early childhood, elementary and secondary education); Facilities Manager, Action in Teacher Education, Australian Journal of Teacher Education (management and personnel, including teacher education); CURRENTS, Training (postsecondary education); and European Journal of Open, Distance and E-Learning; Gifted Education International; Harvard Journal of Hispanic Policy (educational equity and access).
