The list of journals includes titles indexed from 1966 to the present, and indicates any breaks in coverage, e.g., 1999-2001, 2004-Current. The term "current" indicates that ERIC is actively indexing the journal. The availability of records for an issue is dependent on content provided by the publisher.

These details do not include historic variations (e.g., title, ISSN, publisher, or coverage changes).

ERIC broadly defines "journal" as a periodical or serial publication with a stated aim and scope, published with regular frequency. ERIC lists selected Monographic Series by the series title on the Non-Journal Source List.
