| Abstract: | Prepared with the new user in mind, this manual is designed to make the process of learning to use a computer bulletin board system (CBBS) easier, and to make continued use more effective. The manual provides a detailed review of the commands, procedures, and display screens needed for access to the School Board Bulletin Board System, an education-oriented CBBS operated by the Educational Information and Resource Center in Sewell, New Jersey. Descriptions of computer bulletin board systems, School Board, and the RBBS-PC computer bulletin board software program used by School Board are provided as well as an overview of School Board's features. Detailed discussions of the following topics are provided: (1) First-Time Use of the School Board; (2) School Board Entry as a Registered User; (3) Message Subsystem; (4) File Subsystem; (5) Utilities Subsystem; and (6) Conference Subsystem.
